First coronavirus death recorded in Nigeria – BREAKING NEWS

Nigeria has recorded the first coronavirus in the country.

Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) announced that the patient was a 67 year old male who returned home following medical treatment in United Kingdom.

He had underlying medical conditions- multiple myeloma & diabetes & was undergoing chemotherapy

UPDATE: Suleiman Achimugu, a former Managing Director of Pipelines and Products Marketing Company (PPMC) a subsidiary of Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation, has been identified as the first coronavirus death in Nigeria

Meanwhile, One of the sons of former vice president of , Atiku Abubakar, has tested positive for the novel coronavirus (COVID-19).
