VIDEO: Why RCCG Members Can't Contract Coronavirus - Pastor Adeboye

The federal government of Nigeria had earlier issued guidelines for places of worship in the country to avoid large gatherings over the outbreak of coronavirus.

Specifically, some state governments had banned public gatherings until further notice as part of efforts to curb further spread of the coronavirus (COVID-19) disease.

It will be recalled that Naija News earlier reported on Thursday that the number of confirmed cases in Nigeria has risen to twelve (12).

This has forced some churches to avoid physical gathering for their services henceforth and announced online services in compliance with government directive and recommendation on the disease.

Some churches have thus announced online platforms where worshippers can live-stream their services, while others want to adopt the option of limiting worshippers to 50 people.

Below are the links and time for some churches that have announced online services.

Daystar Christian Centre: Services will hold online on Saturdays (6 pm), Sundays (7 am, 8.45 am, 10.30 am, 12.15 pm) and Wednesdays (6 pm) only on (listed) platforms.

Mountain of Fire and Miracles Ministries (MFM): Members are to be encouraged to hook up to online page on which ministration on video will be streamed live from the International Headquarters.

The Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) has also announced the option of live streaming its services.

Many other churches have also announced online worship services, as well as limited house fellowship styled worship centres pending when the virus will be fully contained and normalcy can be restored.
