The Other Alternative Retrieves Statement on Talban Katagum

A political pressure group, The Other Alternative Forum, has
retrieved its earlier statement of allegations published against Dr. Musa
Babayo (Talban Katagum) through a written prose that was published in May,
2019.

In a Press Release signed by the Forum’s Director Public
Affairs, Elkanah Johnson Boi and made available to this medium, it was stated
that although, the publishers of the said news story had no hand in the said
published literature, but through a concerted effort by the Forum, it was
discovered that the contents of the article were incorrect and tailored to
creating sheer hatred to Dr. Musa Babayo and an attempt to destroy his
reputation, integrity and public image by his suspected political detractors
which is an action regretted with further steps taken to avoid a repeat of such
mischief. Forum therefore wishes to inform the general public that the said
mischievous publication wired to media houses by an unknown, front of political
jobbers using the platform of the Forum is regretted and has since been pulled
out from further circulation.

Although Forum has no direct link with the offensive
publication, it deems it necessary to apologize to Dr. Musa Babayo for the
pains he went through as a result of the falsehood published.
