Bishop Oyedepo
Winners Chapel founder, Bishop David Oyedepo has warned Christians that one cannot fast his way to prosperity.
He urged those who spend their days fasting in the hope of becoming rich, that such a thing cannot happen.
According to the clergyman who tweeted, the way into prosperity is not by denying oneself of food but by feeding on the word of God.
“You cannot fast your way into your prosperity, you feed into it through the Word of God”, he tweeted.
In another post, Oyedepo stated that one can be a Christian and still be in lack. This he says is because the person is failing to see what God is saying.
“God is no respecter of any person but of His Word. It is very possible to be a Christian and live in lack and want. Until you see what God is saying, you remain the same. God is no respecter of persons, He only respects faith in His Word”, he added.
