Super Falcons forward Uchenna Kanu has joined Spanish women’s top flight club Sevilla from American college side Southeastern Fire for the remainder of the season, Completesports.com reports.
Sevilla made the announcement on their official website on Tuesday.

Kanu, 22, becomes the first African to join the Sevilla women’s team.
She could make her debut for Sevilla against Asisat Oshoala’s Barcelona on Saturday.
Sevilla are currently 11th on 18 points and are six points away from the relegation zone, in the 16-team league table.
Kanu was a member of the Flamingoes team to the 2014 FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup and the 2014 FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup.
She made her Falcons debut on 8th April 2019 in a 2-1 friendly loss to Canada.
Also, she made the Falcons squad to the 2019 FIFA Women’s World Cup in France.
