Nigerian artiste, Burna Boy has finally spoken out after losing Grammy Award for the Best Contemporary World Music Album to Beninese legendary singer, Angelique Kidjo.
KanyiDaily had reported that Angelique Kidjo won the most prestigious award for her album “Celia”, and she dedicated it to Burna Boy whom she described as the future of African music.
Burna Boy has now gratefully responded to Angelique Kidjo with love on his Instagram page. He wrote:
“I love you forever @angeliquekidjo and every single person that rooted for me, I don’t take any of it lightly! The world get ready cause we’re all coming! #FOOTONNECK2020”

Burna Boy was nominated in the category for his acclaimed album ‘African Giant’.
He was up against Angelique Kidjo, Nathalie Joachim with Spektral Quartet, Bokanté & Metropole Orkest Conducted By Jules Buckley and, Altin Gün.
