Buhari felicitates with Amosun at 62

President Muhammadu Buhari, on Friday, felicitated with former Governor of Ogun State, and senator in the Ninth National Assembly, Ibikunle Amosun, on his 62nd birthday celebration.

The Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, Femi Adesina, in a statement in Abuja, indicated that “President Muhammadu Buhari, on behalf of himself and the Federal Government, felicitates most sincerely, with the immediate past Governor of Ogun State, Senator Ibikunle Amosun, on the occasion of his 62nd birthday.”

He stated that “in a congratulatory letter to the Distinguished Senator, the President rejoices with him “for legions of achievements and successes in various fields of human endeavour.”

President Buhari acknowledged that the former governor’s “dedication to public service and contributions to nation-building, both at state and federal levels are highly commendable.”

The President joined Senator Amosun’s family, friends and other well-wishers to celebrate with him on this joyous occasion.

He prayed that Almighty Allah grants the celebrant long life and good health to continue in the service of the nation and humanity.
