The World Heavyweight Champion, Anthony Joshua, in London, the United Kingdom, met with President Muhammadu Buhari where he presented his IBF, WBA, WBO, and IBO titles to the Nigerian leader.

Anthony Joshua met with President at a forum of the Nigerian leader with Nigerians living in the United Kingdom.

The world champion took selfie pictures with President Buhari at the forum.

Present at the forum were Governor Inuwa Yahaya of Gombe State, Minister of Foreign Affairs, Geoffrey Onyeama; Minister of Trade and Investment, Adeniyi Adebayo; Chairman/CEO of the Nigerians in Diaspora Commission, Abike Dabiri-Erewa; and Nigeria’s High Commissioner to the UK, Justice Adesola Oguntade, among others.

Joshua defeated Andy Ruiz to reclaim his IBF, WBA and WBO titles on December 7, 2019, in Saudi Arabia.

Joshua lost his titles to Ruiz in a shocking knockout defeat in New York, USA, in June 2019, but defeated Ruiz on majority points of 118-110 on two scorecards with the third judge making it 119-109 to reclaim the titles.
