Jose Mourinho
Tottenham Hotspurs’ new manager, Jose Mourinho, has become the second-highest-paid coach in world football, after signing a massive £15million-a-year contract with the North London club.
Mourinho replaced Mauricio Pochettino on Wednesday and will earn double what the Argentine was paid.
According to Tutto Mercato, his salary sees Mourinho jump straight into the list of the game’s highest earners at number two.
He is however behind Manchester City’s Pep Guardiola, who signed a new two-year contract in 2018 worth £20m per season.
Atletico Madrid’s Diego Simeone is in third place and earns £13m-a-year.
