Through his fantastic emPawa initiative, Mr Eazi is changing the lives and careers of many emerging African acts. Not only has he granted a video budget to 100 burgeoning acts, but he’s also adding his star power to their tracks.

The latest emPawa act to see Mr Eazi feature on their track is up-and-coming Nigerian singer, Leopard, who used his emPawa100 status to drop a remix, accompanied by a video, for his solid 2018 single, “Shola”.

On “Shola”, Leopard exults God, praying for his big dreams — from shutting down venues all the way in Tokyo, to pulling up in fast cars — to come true. In the video, Leopard takes us to his hood, where he is joined by his whole crew who come out to vibe to their boy’s song!

Mr Eazi comes up on the song’s first verse, praying that he is blessed with the future he has envisaged — a future in which he is relevant and touching lives. While Mr Eazi doesn’t actually show up in the accompanying video, his verse is a commendable addition to the track.
