Since the success of his breakout bop, “Issa Vibe”, Kida Kudz has been surprisingly busy — from scoring an “Issa Vibe” remix with Burna Boy to showing up on Lady Donli’s “Classic”. Now, he’s joined UK rapper, Ms Banks on her self-affirming track, Snack”.

The GuiltyBeatz-produced “Snack” is an anthem of body positivity, upon which Ms Banks brags about her sexy curves, as well as her skillful bars. Kida Kudz appears on the song’s chorus, equally as confident, beginning the track by boasting of his good looks and allure.

In the accompanying music video for “Snack”, Ms Banks and Kida Kudz flaunt their bodies, which are highlighted by bright colours and neon lighting. Ms Banks also enlists her girl gang for the video, as they all gas each other up while twerking to the bubbly tune.

In an interview with The Fader, Ms Banks explains her intentions for the song saying:

“To be a snack is to look sweet. ‘Snack’ is feel-good record about walking into the club and owning the room and feeling empowered and comfortable in your own skin. Hopefully when you hear it, it gives you that vibe.”
