Chinko Ekun & Zlatan Reunite On The Remix For Brainee's Infectious 'Gbese'

After their brilliant performances on the anthemic single, “Able God”, Chinko Ekun and Zlatan have deservedly gained a lot of mainstream recognition, especially Zlatan, who has since gone on to collaborate with two of afropop’s biggest stars, Burna Boy and Davido.

It’s no surprise, then, that when Brainee was looking to drop a remix for his infectious single, “Gbese”, he enlisted both of them, along with verified hitmaker, DJ Spinall.

Opening the song, DJ Spinall steps out of his comfort zone, delivering a meritorious verse atop the Rexxie-produced beat. Spinall is then followed by Brainee, the infectious track’s original star, before Chinko Ekun’s rough and animated verse comes in to sharply liven up the track.

Of course, Zlatan delivers the song’s best verse, although we wouldn’t expect any less from the Davido co-signed star. Still, all artists on this catchy tune flaunted their rap skill — an especially commendable feat from DJ Spinall, as this was unchartered territory for him.
