It is worrisome the level our nation has degenerated to by the inept and ineffective leadership of the country.
Just yesterday our nation lost some of our finest, the Deputy Commissioner of Police in charge of Operation at the FCT command, late Umar was a gentleman and fine officer of the Nigerian Police and a Corp Member serving with the Channels Television( Precious Owolabi), one of the futures of Nigeria and many others who lost their lives.
But what is however worrisome and disturbing is, if the list of Ministers going round is true , it means that the Government of President Muhammadu Buhari has no value and dignity for human life.
Reading the media statement released by the Presidency where no references or acknowledgement was made of the the killed Senior police officer and the Channels TV staff, shows the desperate nature of the government to divert attention and buried the matter.
I am not an IMN member but those that were killed amongst them were Nigerians regardless of who was responsible for all the killings..
Killings of Nigerians in whatever guises diminishes us and this must stop. There should be a more proactive and better ways to manage protest whether peaceful or not, that is why we have a government that is expected to be above board. If this trend continues I am afraid for our dear nation.
May the souls of all the departed rest in peace.
