Fasoranti’s daughter, late Olakunri for burial today

The remains of the daughter of the leader of the pan Yoruba socio cultural organization, Afenifere, Chief Reuben Fasoranti, Mrs Funke Olakunrin will be committed to mother earth today.

Mrs Olakunrin will be buried after a funeral service at Saint David’s Anglican Cathedral Church
Ijomu, Akure.

The late Mrs Olakunri was killed by suspected Fulani herdsmen at Kajola village, along Benin/Ore road in Odigbo Local Government Area of Ondo State penultimate Friday.

Mrs Olakunrin,58,was survived by an aged father, Pa Reuben Fasoranti,and her husband, Mr Olakunri,children and siblings.

The funeral service is expected to be attended by Ondo State Governor, Oluwarotimi Akeredolu, the Deputy Governor, Agboola Ajayi and members of the State Executive Council.

The funeral service will be presided over by the Bishop, Akure diocese of the Anglican Church, Rev Simeon Borokini and other christian leaders.
