Although Ruffcoin is an old-hand in the music game, his name isn’t so widely known today. But, with Rudeboy‘s 2019 hit single, “Reason With Me”, still hot on the charts, the former P-Square member looks to help out a fellow veteran, lending Ruffcoin his star power on new single, “Yati Yati”.

“Yati Yati” is an upbeat bop that sees both Ruffcoin and Rudeboy bragging about their wealth. With Ruffcoin mocking those who talk “yati yati”, Rudeboy kindly informs us that he is living his life and spending his money however he wants to, and we should mind our business.

Directed by Unlimited LA, the accompanying music video for “Yati Yati” shows the pair posing beside a Rolls Royce, eating well at a lavish banquet and spraying money at a lively party — all in a bid to flaunt the flashy lifestyle they sing about.

Although he claims to be the King of Melodies, Ruffcoin’s delivery on this song isn’t particularly strong, but the talented Rudeboy, who has remained consistently impressive for over a decade, manages to salvage the track, with his solid verse and sweet closing chorus.
