A correspondent reports that even though the appointment of the key aides require no Senate screening and confirmation, the presidency is yet to explain the cause of the delay. The president’s closed door meeting with Lawan lasted for about 45 minutes. At the end of it, the Senate president left without speaking to the press on the reason for the meeting.
