Senator Shehu Sani may be expressing solidarity with Senator Abdul Ningi, representing Bauchi Central Senatorial District in the 10th National Assembly, who was suspended for three months for exposing padding of over N3 trillion in the 2024 budget by the senate.
Sani explained that if you talk too much on the side of truth, you will pay for it bitterly. He maintained that that is the reason the Opposition cannot oppose in the National Assembly.
According to Shehu Sani, “If you talk too much, your bodi go tell you, that is why even opposition no fit oppose too much.”

Senator Abdul Ningi was suspended from the Nigerian Senate on Tuesday for exposing padding of the 2024 budget with about N3.7 trillion.
