Oyo State Governor, Seyi Makinde, on Wednesday, welcomed the British Deputy High Commissioner, Lagos, Jonny Baxter, to Ibadan, the state capital.
Their meeting focused on bolstering trade and economic growth within the agribusiness sector, as well as strategising for job creation and strengthening the relationship between the United Kingdom and Oyo State.
Baxter shared insights from the encounter via his social media handle on Thursday, March 7.
Accompanied by snapshots from the meeting, Baxter wrote, “Great to meet the Oyo State Governor #seyiamakinde yesterday in Ibadan.
“Had good discussion on improving trade & economic development opportunities in agribusiness as well as how to create jobs and build a more prosperous relationship between and Oyo State.”
