A three-storey building which collapsed at Ochanja market by Woliwo Street Fegge Onitsha, Anambra state on Monday night, February 26, has claimed the lives of six persons.
The building, which was still under construction, collapsed at about 8pm last night. According to the Anambra State Emergency Management Agency, six persons died while 20 other persons were rescued with various levels of injuries.
Some of the workers at the site who escaped death gave an estimate of fifty workers who were working at the site at the time of the collapse.
