A renown activist, Senator Shehu Sani, has expressed strong disagreement with the planned Nigerian Youths National Prayer Day to “curse” Prof. Mahmoud Yakuibu, Chairman of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), for alleged subversion of the will of the people in the February 25, 2023 presidential election.

The Nigerian Youths have scheduled the National Prayer Day to hold on the first anniversary of the 2023 presidential election – February 25, 2024.

The agitating Nigerian Youths perceived the INEC Chairman to have sold the 2023 elections to the highest bidder.

According to them, “Curse be unto Mahmoud Yakubu, INEC Chairman who sold elections to the highest bidder. He rigged the elections that brought Bola Ahmed TInubu to power.

“Muslims, Christians, traditionalists, atheist; we gather swear for INEC Chairman.”
However, Shehu Sani is indifferent to the national curse on the INEC chairman.

According to Senator Shehu Sani,

@ShehuSani

“This is actually meaningless and unnecessary.”
