Social commentator Aisha Yesufu asserted that Edo North Senator Adams Oshiomhole has conceded that former President Muhammadu Buhari was a failure.

Yesufu emphasized that Oshiomhole’s remarks have authorized Nigerians to openly criticize Buhari. Her comments were prompted by Oshiomhole’s acknowledgment of the adverse impact of Buhari’s economic policies on Nigerians.

Yesufu highlighted Oshiomhole’s statement, stating, ‘Adams Oshiomhole has now agreed Buhari was a failure and has given citizens ‘permission’ to criticise him’.”

In response to Oshiomhole’s statements, Yesufu remarked on X, “Just yesterday Buhari was their hero. They defended him and were always in Daura. Today they blame him.”

She continued, characterizing the shifting loyalty as indicative of sycophancy, “Their new hero is the Lagos man. Just wait for the illegally gotten power to be over and then their mouths will open. Sycophants.”

Regarding Oshiomhole’s role in enabling criticism of Buhari, Yesufu concluded, “Adams Oshiomhole has now given you all permission to criticise Buhari.”
