Over the past few years, web series have become increasingly popular in Nigeria, with Ndani TV dutifully leading the charge — thanks to a bunch of well-liked shows, including Gidi Up and Skinny Girl In Transit. Now, they’ve come through another seemingly solid offering, OGA! Pastor

Penned by rising screenwriter, Lani Aisida (Rumour Has It, Just No Married), the new series follows the turbulent life of Pastor Deoye Gesinde (played by Uzor Arukwe), a young clergyman and the founder of a fast-growing church, GGBC.

The drama series will revolve around his struggles with juggling the needs of his family, his congregation and his own personal life, inevitably finding himself being weighed down by people’s expectations and the high standards he has set for himself.

In the juicy pilot episode, Pastor Gesinde makes a shocking confession to his congregation, leaving them in a state of confusion. From the looks of it, Ndani TV has created another hit, and we can’t wait to see where the rest of the season goes.
