President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has approved the appointment of Rtd AIG Hakeem Odumosu as the Substantive Chairman of EFCC.
Odumosu enlisted in the Nigerian police force on March 3, 1990, and served for 32 years.
He was a former Commissioner of Police in Lagos State and retired as an Assistant Inspector-General of Police.
He replaces Abdulrasheed Bawa that was sacked last week by President Tinubu.
The approval is however subject to his Confirmation by the Senate.
