A few months ago, Reminisce enlisted Sarz for the fantastic “Oja” — one of the best (and most underrated) Nigerian songs of the year. Now, for the follow-up single, the hip-hop heavyweight has teamed up with afro-house queen, Niniola, for solid party-starter, “Jensimi”.
Brilliantly produced by up-and-coming beatsmith, Tempoe, “Jensimi” is an immensely catchy track — one that not only proves Reminisce is still capable of making a radio-friendly banger, but reaffirms how much better Niniola makes everything she touches.
As if the infectious, dance-friendly beat was not enough of a hint, both stars proceed to make it abundantly clear, while singing and rapping entirely in Yoruba, that “Jensimi” is an open invitation for everyone to join them on to the dancefloor and have a good time.
