A 38-year-old member representing Odo-Otin Constituency, Adewale Egbedun has been elected as the Speaker of the Osun State House of Assembly.
Adewale Egbedun emerged as the speaker on Tuesday, June 6, after his nomination was put forward by Ibrahim Abiola of Irewole/Isokan constituency and seconded by Areoye Samuel.
Additionally, Akinyode Oyewusi, who represents Ife North Constituency, was elected as the Deputy Speaker of the House.
The inaugural sitting of the 8th Assembly was presided over by the Clerk of the House, Simeon Amusan.
