Adekunle Gold & Dyo Reunite On The Remix Of The Fantastic ‘Arena’

Following Dyo‘s memorable guest work on Adekule Gold‘s “Down With You” — a standout off his LP, About 30 — a much wider audience got introduced to the very gifted singer-songwriter. Now, he is returning the favour by joining her on the remix of her latest single, “Arena”.

The remix for “Arena” begins exactly like the original, with Adekunle Gold finally coming in on the song’s second verse. Asking his lover to open up and stay with him, Adekunle Gold manages to augment the track for the better, adding stellar harmonies to Dyo’s catchy chorus.

Speaking about the song on Instagram, Adekunle Gold said:

“Hands down one of my fave verses I’ve written this year! I am obsessed with how clever and beautiful this song is.”

Given Dyo’s affinity for compelling visuals, the remix for “Arena” is also accompanied by an alluring music video. This time around, however, the clip is set outdoors, capturing intimate shots of both stars posing in front of picturesque buildings and scenic landscapes.
