Inauguration: Osinbajo’s Twitter verification tag removed

The verification tag of the former Vice-president of Nigeria, Prof. Yemi Osinbajo on microblogging platform, Twitter has been removed.

Naija News reports that hitherto its removal, the tag was designed for government officials.

It was, however, gathered that on Monday, Twitter removed the verification tag of Osinbanjo, however that of his former principal, the former president,  Muhammadu Buhari remained.

Meanwhile, this platform learnt that Twitter was yet to reply The Punch over its inquery about why Osinbajo’s verification tag was removed on inauguration day.
