A self-acclaimed relationship expert, Blessing Okoro, popularly known as Blessing CEO, has returned to social media after spending three weeks in prison.
KanyiDaily recalls that Blessing CEO was arrested over her involvement with a celebrity car dealer, Ikechukwu Ogbonna, better known as IVD Autos, who was accused of being the cause of the death of his late wife, Bimbo Ogbonna.
The police arraigned the relationship expert on a six-count charge of alleged cyber-bullying, libel, and for exhibiting uncensored movies.
Blessing was accused of using her social media page to injure the reputation of one Folashade Samuels and the late Bimbo Ogbonna by exposing them to hatred, contempt, and ridicule.
The influencer pleaded not guilty to the charges. She was remanded in prison till May 30 for the hearing of her bail application.
On April 4, Blessing’s lawyer filed a bail application and Justice Tijjani Ringim granted her bail in the sum of N10 million with two sureties in like sum.
It was learnt that Blessing CEO had remained in detention because she was unable to meet her bail conditions until she returned to social media on Thuirsda, April 20, after twenty days in prison.
In the first post shared on her Instagram, Blessing regarded herself as a child of grace and then appreciated her fans and lovers who showed care while she was away.
She wrote: “Child of grace ….Thank you, lovers …Words fail me my hands still shaking ..Long speech coming ….”
In another post, she shared a video with captions noting how much she missed her fans and how excited she is to be back.
“I missed u all…..Just use this video hold body cause I know u missed me too,” she wrote.
Blessing CEO’s post have triggered mixed reactions with some people opining that she should have learnt her lesson in prison and be cautious with her words while others refused to believe she has regained her freedom.
KanyiDaily had reported how Bimbo died in a hospital after getting into a scuffle with her husband and allegedly setting herself ablaze at their mansion in Lagos.
While Bimbo’s sister accused IVD of killing his wife, Blessing defended the car dealer and was even dragged to the police by the deceased’s family.
IVD was arraigned and charged with one count of involuntary manslaughter at the Lagos State High Court in Ikeja where he pleaded not guilty to the crime.
Blessing CEO was reportedly arrested whilst in the company of IVD on Thursday morning, March 30, after weeks of dodging her court appearances.
