Police Arrest Domestic Staff, Others Involved In Attempted Kidnap Of Tiwa Savage

The Criminal Investigation Department in Alagbon, Lagos through its spokesperson, CSP Oluniyi Ogundeyi confirmed the arrest of the suspects.

The Nigerian Police Command has confirmed that it has arrested the suspects in connection with the alleged attempt to abduct singer/songwriter, Tiwa Savage.

On Friday, news of the singer’s attempted kidnapping surfaced on social media. The singer’s private security and the Nigeria Police were reported to have saved her from the suspects.

According to sources, the plot was planned by the new domestic staff of Tiwa Savage who had access to crucial information about her movements.

The staff followed her from her residence while sharing this information with other members of the supposed kidnapping gang.

The Criminal Investigation Department in Alagbon, Lagos through its spokesperson, CSP Oluniyi Ogundeyi verified this information to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) on Saturday in Lagos.

”Yes, we have some suspects, they are in our custody. They are about four,” the spokesperson said.
