Wizkid Teases Collaboration With Damian Marley On Upcoming Album

It has been over a year since Wizkid first teased Made In Lagos. At first, it was announced as a Starboy collaborative project, but a lot has changed since then. Now, it’s a Wizkid album — one that just landed a feature from the world famous Damian Marley.

Lately, Wizkid has been back on his vigilant promotion of the album. Giving us a sneak peek into the creation process, he shared and in-studio picture with Damien Marley, along with a #MadeInLagos hashtag and a caption that asserted they had created something “special”.

Back in May last year, off the back of his sold-out O2 performance, Wizkid shared with Tim Westwood that Made In Lagos would be 10 tracks of “pure Wizkid”. Understandably, that plan has flown out the window, because if Damian Marley is up for a feature, can you really say no?

We just hope the album drops sometime soon.
