In the past couple of days, Major Lazer’s Walshy Fire has teamed up with both Runtown and Ice Prince for two separate yet equally impressive bops, “No Negative Vibes” and “Round Of Applause”. Now, he’s enlisted Mr Eazi, along with Kranium, for yet another banger, “Call Me”.
Mr Eazi opens “Call Me”, telling the woman of his dreams to call him whenever she’s lonely. Kranium handles the song’s two verses, firstly singing about how long he’s been waiting for his love interest’s call, before cheekily chastising her boyfriend for not doing a good enough job.
The video for “Call Me” depicts Walshy Fire, Mr Eazi and Kranium isolated in white spaces, juxtaposed by three girls similarly alone in colourful rooms. Directed by Jocelyn Cooper, the video highlights the distance the three stars are hoping to bridge with the women they want.
