The Senator representing Kogi West Senatorial District In the National Assembly, Dino Melaye, has lambasted the state governor, Yahaya Bello, for hugging a traditional ruler, Alhaji Ado Ibrahim.

Dino Melaye took to his Instagram page and shared a photo of Governor Bello hugging Alh Ado Ibrahim during Eid Mubarak celebration on Tuesday.

Describing the action as a mark of disrespect to the traditional institution, Melaye described Bello as being rude and disobedient to the seat of HRM.

“Very disrespectful and rude Governor Yahaya Bello, hugging his paramount traditional ruler Alhaji Ado Ibrahim who is over 90 years.

“Can Gov. Tabuwal hug the Sultan? Or will Gov. El-rufai hug the Emir of Zaria? If this disobedient child will not respect the seat of Ohinoyi, he should respect the age of HRM.

“Home training is not a gift,” Melaye posted on his Instagram page.
