One Hundred and Eighty-Five Naira (N185) has been quietly approved by the Federal Government as the new pump price of petrol per litre.
N185 Approved By Federal Government As New Petrol Price
According to Guardian, the approved pump price has been communicated to major marketers in a memo.
Reports say that some petrol stations in Lagos have started adjusting their pump price to the approved N185 per litre.
The official pump price of petrol in the country is N165. However, some stations in parts of Nigeria are selling the product above N200.
The latest approved price comes on the heels of nationwide petrol scarcity, resulting in long queues in petrol stations across the country since November 2022.

This is a developing report. More details will be added shortly.
Meanwhile, Kanyi Daily reported that a former federal lawmaker, Shehu Sani has expressed fear that conducting elections in some parts of the country will be a great challenge.
Sani expressed his fear due to the level of insecurity in the country.
