Since Diplo came to Nigeria for Gidi Fest in 2017, he’s kept close relationships with our local artists, collaborating with the likes of Mr Eazi, Kizz Daniel and more. Now, he’s set his sights on up-and-coming star, Kida Kudz, who recently announced an imminent collaboration.

It wasn’t until the success of Kida Kudz’s 2017 banger, “Issa Vibe”, that he really found his footing, and since then, he has released a number of other solid tracks. Clearly, his momentum won’t be slowing down anytime soon, as a collaboration with Diplo is a pretty huge deal.

Speaking with MTV about what to expect from him, the rapper said:

“After ‘Snack’ came out, loads of people were looking for me, and I’ve got stuff with Octavian, Chipmunk. I even have stuff with Diplo coming.”

This exciting revelation comes just a month after the Diplo teased a collaboration with singer-songwriter, Simi. It looks like the Grammy-winning producer is doubling down on his love for Nigerian artists, and we can’t wait to hear all the gems that he creates because of it.
