President Muhammadu Buhari has departed London, United Kingdom, for Nigeria after his “private visit” that sources have confirmed was a medical trip.
Inside sources in the Presidency had reported that Buhari may not return to the country on Sunday, May 5 as scheduled due to his health complications and orders from his doctors.
However, the presidential plane, Boeing 737 Business Ajet with registration number 5N-FGT, has been spotted as it leaves Standsted Airport in London at about 12:20 pm on Sunday, May 5th.
Buhari had left the country for London on April 24th without handing over as constitutionally required to the Vice President.
