It’s been a frustratingly dry year for Maleek Berry fans, as the gifted producer-turned-artist is yet to come through with a 2019 single. Well, all that’s about to change, as he has finally promised us some new music and the release of his long-awaited debut album.

One of the songs fans can expect from Maleek Berry in the coming weeks is a collaboration with Grammy-nominated rapper, GoldLink.

In the past year, alongside his work with a few beloved Nigerian artists, Maleek Berry has also successfully collaborated with a host of international stars — Rudimental, Kojo Funds, Chip, Estelle, Yxng Bane and more — making this GoldLink team-up hardly surprising.

The talented GoldLink, who has nabbed a Grammy nomination for ‘Best Rap/Sung Performance’ two years in a row, is known for working particularly well with singers, and if he brings that same energy to this Maleek Berry collaboration, then we are all in for a real treat.

As for Maleek Berry’s debut album — which follows the release of two acclaimed EPs, Last Daze Of Summer and First Daze Of Winter — we fully expect the project to be stellar, and although no official release date has been announced, Maleek says it’s coming this year.
