When Korede Bello first broke out, everyone was convinced he would become the next inescapable afropop sensation, however the Mavin act tended toward releasing fewer songs, only showing out sometimes.

Earlier in the month, Korede Bello released his first official single of the year, “Joko”, therefore, it comes as a pleasant surprise to hear a second drop in such quick succession, especially pleasing given “Mr Vendor” is an undeniable jam.

“Mr Vendor” is produced by none other than the Mavin boss, Don Jazzy, who lays a phenomenal beat for Korede Bello to kill. Although lacking in lyrics, Korede Bello takes advantage of this beat, delivering a few sweet-sounding bars, getting particularly cheeky on the chorus.

In the Kaz Oké-directed video, we see Korede Bello play the role of a store clerk serving a beautiful girl, who looks like money, according to the talented singer. Sparks fly between the two, so Korede leads her to his main grind, performing to a crowd of awe-stricken fans, including his new lover.
