Best You Never Heard: Niniola Shines On DJ Neptune's Catchy 'Rolling'

Any true music lover knows that the lead singles are rarely ever the best in an artist’s catalogue. That’s one of the reasons we at Konbini love hunting for underappreciated deep cuts off our favourite projects.

Last year, DJ Neptune dropped his star-studded debut album, Greatness, which was stacked with so many bangers, some ended up getting lost in the shuffle. One standout that certainly deserved a lot more love than it got is the Niniola-assisted banger, “Rolling”.

Against a catchy and energetic afro-house beat, Niniola sings about how her life has been turned around, after becoming resilient to heartbreak. The beloved star not only imbues the track with her infectious energy, but she also shows off her incredible vial range as well.

DJ Neptune’s album is honestly loaded with a ton of tracks that would make easy hits if they ever got released as singles. From the Burna Boy-aided “Shayo” to “Secret Agenda” with Davido and Phyno, the deep cuts from this LP should definitely be revisited, and we hope he keeps the bangers coming.
