TheCable reports that the remains of Ibrahim Attahiru, the late chief of army staff, and other officers who died in a plane crash on Friday in Kaduna will be laid to rest at the National Military Cemetery, Abuja on Saturday.
While funeral rites for Attahiru and six other officers are taking place at the National Mosque, Abuja, the rites for four others are in progress at the Nigerian Air force Protestant Church.
Attahiru and 10 other military officers were on board a Beechcraft 350 aircraft that crashed near Kaduna International Airport on Friday.
