Buhari’s Effort To Improve Security Is Unmatched, APC Replies PDP Governors

Despite the current issues, President Muhammadu Buhari, according to the All Progressives Congress (APC), has done a good job of increasing security in the country.

PDP governors convened in Ibadan, the capital of Oyo state, on Monday, and labeled President Muhammadu Buhari’s administration “incompetent and rudderless.” The governors also urged the president to take significant measures to alleviate tensions and insecurity.

The APC responded in a statement, claiming that the opposition governors wasted their time calling one other names rather than using the meeting to make “serious and patriotic inputs on the review of the status of the nation.”

Buhari’s achievements in administration, economic, and security, according to the ruling party, are unparalleled. The statement continues, “It is regrettable that the ostensibly PDP governors consultation conference turned out to be a political jamboree, with the outcome a waste of time with no substance.”

“The President Muhammadu Buhari administration’s efforts and track record in reviving the economy, devolution of powers, governance, upgrading the country’s security architecture, resolving chronic farmer-herder crises/clashes, and public sector reforms are apparent and unparalleled.

“Nigerians will recall that President Buhari signed an executive order on the introduction of financial autonomy for state legislatures and state judiciaries on May 20, 2020, which was rejected by the same PDP governors.

“In all determined efforts to make the country better and resolve our issues, our government will continue to identify and cooperate with patriotic and well-meaning persons and interests.”
