Starboy’s Wizkid-led “Soco” was one of the biggest Nigerian songs of last year. So, it comes as no surprise that Canadian artist, Tory Lanez is a fan of the monster hit, teasing fans with a remix he’s done with the help of the song’s producer, Northboi.

Tory Lanez is no stranger to working with Nigerians, as he has already teamed up with Sean Tizzle and Davido in the past. Just last month, Davido teased a joint mixtape with the star, following their collaboration on Casanova’s modest hit, “2AM”.

Now, the Grammy nominee has announced that he is working on a new mixtape, International Fargoa project he says will be “full of remixes to the hottest international songs” — and the “Soco” remix is one of the songs set to be on it.

In the snippet of his remix, the original Northboi beat is tweaked a little bit, with the vocals making it sound like a completely different song. Tory Lanez is an immensely talented artist, and we can’t wait to hear his full take on the afropop banger.

Until then, listen to the snippet below:
