You’ll probably recognise Susan Wokoma from the critically-acclaimed Netflix series, Chewing Gum, where she stole the show as Tracy’s (Michaela Coel) eccentric sister, Cynthia. But if you’re not familiar with her, you — and the rest of Hollywood — will soon be.
Hi guys.

The award-winning actress was just cast as a series regular in a new CBS romantic comedy series, Super Simple Love Story. The show will tell the story of how “an unlikely couple becomes an unlikely family” using interviews and vignettes that span over 10 years.
Wokoma, who also stole the show on Crazyhead, will star alongside Ronny Chieng (Crazy Rich Asians), Elizabeth Alderfer (Disjointed) and David Walton (About A Boy). Wokoma plays Abby, a woman who is more than happy to hate her job as long as the check clears.
No premiere date has been announced for Super Simple Love Story, but we are already hyped.
