Popular Nigerian TV presenter, Shade Ladipo has taken to her Instagram account to reveal that she has been sacked by Siverbird Television.

The media personality said she was sacked for being ‘too controversial’.

She wrote:

”It’s been a weird sort of day and I’m sad to say that my run with Silverbird TV is over. Suffice to say but my being soooo controversial didn’t go down well with the powers that be I have enjoyed every opportunity given to me but #FvckYou”

However, another staff at the station has called Shade out for lying about the situation. According to Opeyemi Adekola, the presenter “walked out of the studio despite being tolerated.”

It would be recalled that after the Osas Ighodaro and Gbenro Ajibade marital crisis surfaced on social media, Ladpipo posted a video in which she advised people about marrying up and down and also said she always felt Ighodaro was marrying down.
