Moses Poised For First League Start For Fenerbahce Vs Konyaspor

Nigerian winger, Victor Moses is poised to make his first Turkish Super League start for Fenerbahce on Saturday when the Yellow Canaries take on Konyaspor at the Sukru Saracoglu Stadium, reports Completesport.com.

The 28 year old has made three substitute appearances and scored once for Fenerbahce since he arrived the club on an 18 month loan deal from Chelsea and has called on his side to focus on the game against Konyaspor who are sixth in the Turkish League table.

The Konya based outfit are unbeaten in their last six games across all competitions.

“Time to focus now on Saturday,” Moses tweeted.

Interestingly, the 2013 Africa Cup Of Nations winner, has totaled 94 minutes of football in the Turkish Super Lig so far – 68 minutes more than he played in the first-half of the English top-flight this term for Chelsea.

His only start for Fenerbahce was in Tuesday’s Europa League 1-0 first leg round of 32 win at home to Zenit St. Petersburg.

Moses was subbed off in the 85th minute for Alper Potuk after provided an assist for Islam Slimani match winner in the 21st minute.

Fenerbahce have lost once in their last four games in which Moses featured, recording three wins.

Ersun Yanal’s men are 14th in the Turkish Super Lig table on 23 points from 21 games.
