We Might Finally Be Getting A Ladipoe & Ycee Collaboration

At the start of 2018, while retrospectively appreciating all the incredible collaborations we had gotten the year before, we at Konbini shared our wishlist for more collaborations from some of our favourite musicians.

Well, one of the pairings we hoped for, Ycee and Ladipoe, recently revealed that a collaboration is finally on its way.

When it comes to collaborations, Ycee rarely ever disappoints. The gifted rapper and singer always holds his own, whether it’s against Olamide on his “Jagaban” remix or, more recently, Becca on the vibrant love song, “Magic”. 

As for Mavin Records’ Ladipoe, his debut body of work, Talk About Poe, gave us a clear insight into his musical deftness, as he brought together producers and collaborators that blended with him, and each other, in a very seamless way. 

Beyond their collaborative expertise, Ladipoe and Ycee are two of Nigeria‘s most entertaining rappers, not just for their effortless lyricism but also their wit. A collaboration between them will surely break the internet, and we can’t wait to hear it.
