Charity: UNIOSUN Students Donate Food, Relieve Materials To Orphans

Spirited students of the Osun State University have raised the bar of service to humanity, donating food and relieve materials to an Orphanage centre, in Osogbo, the state capital.

The students, under the auspices of Muslim Students Society of Nigeria, MSSN, Osun State University, Ikire Campus made the donation during their visit to orphans at the Formation of Muslim Women Association of Nigeria, FOMWAN recently.

Led by their Amir, Abubakr Sidiq, the philanthropic students went to the orphanage centre with loads of rice, indomie, spaghetti, milk, chocolates, biscuit, candies,  diapers and other relieve materials.

Commenting on the gesture, Mrs Maridiyat Adeyemo, a stakeholder at FOMWAN extolled the students for reaching out to the orphans.

In her remarks, the Ameera of the foundation, Alhaja Qudrat Oladuni appreciated the students saying, “a lot of rich people are out there who do not remember the orphans”. She prayed for the students for the largesse and cash donation extended to the care centre.
