Modupe Odele
The passport of Modupe ‘Moe’ Odele, one of the front liners of the EndSARS protest and a member of the Feminist Coalition which was seized has now been returned to her.
Modele was stopped from travelling outside Nigeria on November 1. She was on her way to the Maldives for her birthday when Immigration officials stopped her at the airport and seized her passport. According to them, she was being investigated.
In a recent update shared on her Twitter handle on Monday afternoon, November 8, Modupe said she has been handed her passport and has been told she can travel now.
”Passport now picked up. No issues. I’m told I can travel at any time. Thank you so much, everyone, for the help and concern’s” . she tweeted
