A seeming negotiation and horse trading for a joint ticket of the national leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, and former Speaker of the House of Representatives, Rt. Hon Yakubu Dogara, was disclosed at the weekend.

The campaign vehicle of the perceived joint ticket of the two leaders was said to be sighted in Gombe State.

Meanwhile, Tinubu’s ambition for the 2023 presidential race has not been officially declared but several groups have been working across the country mobilizing support for the APC leader.

The Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Board of Trustees, Jibrin Walid, had on the defection of Dogara to APC said that the former Speaker left the PDP for the 2023 presidential or vice presidential ticket which he knew he would not realize in the PDP.

However, official declaration is being awaited to be made by Tinubu on his interest or ambition for the 2023 presidential race.
