Just In: Wife Of #Ukrainian President Tests Positive To #COVID19

Olena Zelenska, the wife of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, has tested positive for COVID-19.

An online statement by the Official Facebook Page for the Ukrainian President confirmed that Olena is now on outpatient treatment.

“Today I received a positive test for coronavirus. Unexpected news. Especially considering the fact that my family and I continue to follow all the rules – masks, gloves, a minimum of contacts…”, Zelenska wrote on Facebook.

“Volodymyr and the children also passed the test, their results are negative,” she added.

Efforts are underway to identify all who have been in contact with the Ukrainian First Lady for tests.

However, the First Lady is said to be ‘feeling well and has no symptoms of the disease”, the president’s press service reports.

Meanwhile, President Zelensky and his children have also been tested and have emerged negative to the Disease. The results of a preliminary test conducted in early June on Ukraine’s first family were negative.
