Despite the talented forward still having four years remaining on his contract with Lille, Galtier insists he could leave the club at the end of the season.
“Victor said he wanted to stay here next season. He is a sincere boy, he is happy here. He is well appreciated and adored by the fans,”Galtier told a news conference after Sunday’s 1-0 away win at Nantes.
“Then, if in a few weeks big teams arrive with an interest in him, he will have to listen. That’s the logic of things.”
